The Scottish Highlands is one of the UK’s best cycling trips, and should be on the bucket list of every cyclist. Known more famously as the North Coast 500, you'll start with the group in Inverness and ride a 500 mile loop of the best, most rugged and breathtaking roads in the Scottish Highlands.
Guided by brilliant ride leaders, with a support vehicle ferrying all of your stuff, and great accommodation every night, this is the best way to take on such a challenging ride.
About the route:
This route takes in Bealach Na Ba (9km climb and the third highest road in Scotland) and encompasses jaw dropping vistas of the mountains, including Ben Muir, and the Summer Isles. We'll pass through the most north westerly town of the UK, Durness, and take in countless lochs and picturesque villages before coming back into Inverness via a loop of the Moray Firth.
It's a challenging ride, with tough climbs and undulating terrain to deal with, but the views will more than compensate for the pain in your legs! Plus we'll keep you well fuelled with some great Scottish food and maybe the odd tot of Whisky of an evening to get you through!
Our partners Mellow Jersey will be taking care of all of the logistics and organisation of the weekend, and as such will take care of payment details.
